A Beautiful Green Mind

Ostrow Wielkopolski - Rome - Bursa

Meeting in Rome

On 10–11 November 2025, the partners of the Erasmus+ project “Beautiful Green Minds” will gather in Rome for a two-day transnational meeting marking the official launch of Activity 2 – Development of the Educational Toolkit for Green Awareness. Hosted by the Italian partner EGI, the meeting will welcome the coordinator from Poland (Zespol school) and the partner from Turkey (YDEEA) to jointly define the framework, structure, and methodology of the project’s second phase.

During these sessions, the consortium will analyse the results achieved in Activity 1 — the research on young people’s environmental behaviours — and transform them into actionable guidelines for educators and trainers. Partners will co-design the pedagogical architecture of the Toolkit, identifying learning modules, interactive materials, and inclusive practices aimed at fostering green citizenship, environmental literacy, and sustainable behaviour among youth and adult learners.

The meeting will also serve to strengthen cooperation between partners, agree on common quality standards, and prepare the calendar for piloting and dissemination. With this event, “Beautiful Green Minds” takes a decisive step toward equipping educational communities with innovative, accessible, and scientifically grounded tools to promote environmental responsibility and European values through education.

Green Minds: Cultivating Sustainability and Environmental Awareness for the Future

Climate change, environmental issues, and sustainability have become pivotal concerns in the contemporary global landscape. Europe committed to halting global warming and mitigating its impacts, aims to lead as the first climate-neutral continent by 2050. Central to this ambition is Europe’s Green Deal, a comprehensive development policy driving towards a circular economy and bioeconomy. Concurrently, corporate actions wield substantial influence over the lives of EU citizens and beyond, prompting an expectation that businesses acknowledge their societal and environmental impacts—both positive and negative. This expectation underscores the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), wherein companies are accountable for minimizing adverse effects on society and the environment.

Motivation for ZST, based in Poland, aims to integrate sustainability into its vocational training programs. Recognizing the growing importance of green skills in the job market, the institute is motivated to provide its students with comprehensive education in green CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) practices. The project offers an opportunity to enhance the curriculum with innovative content on green CSR, developed collaboratively with international partners. This would not only improve the quality of education but also increase the institute’s competitiveness and attractiveness to prospective students. Participating in “A Beautiful Green Mind” provides access to a network of other VET institutions, fostering collaboration, sharing best practices, and exchanging knowledge on green CSR activities. This network can lead to partnerships and opportunities for joint projects and initiatives. Poland is increasingly focusing on sustainable development and green growth. By participating in this project, the ZST Institute aligns itself with national and EU policies on sustainability, which can enhance its reputation and increase support from governmental bodies.

A new website

Welcome to the official website of Zespół Szkół Technicznych (ZST) – a place where innovation meets education, and learning becomes a tool for building a better future. We are thrilled to announce the launch of our new website, designed to become a digital gateway to our educational initiatives, community activities, and international collaborations.

As part of this exciting new chapter, we proudly introduce one of our most ambitious Erasmus+ projects to date: “A Beautiful Green Mind”, a KA210-ADU project dedicated to adult education. This project embodies ZST’s commitment to sustainability, lifelong learning, and mental well-being – key pillars of a forward-looking and inclusive educational culture.

Why It Matters

The project is not only about planting trees or learning to recycle—it is about cultivating a mindset that sees well-being and the environment as deeply interconnected. It invites adults from all walks of life to take part in a movement where sustainability becomes a personal journey, and where mental health is nourished by reconnection with the living world.

As our world becomes increasingly digital and disconnected from nature, “A Beautiful Green Mind” seeks to reintroduce a human-centered, ecologically sensitive approach to adult learning and personal development.

What’s Next

In the coming months, this website will serve as a platform for sharing project updates, resources, event announcements, and reflections from participants and partners. We encourage educators, learners, and community stakeholders to stay connected with us, explore our content, and contribute to this growing dialogue.

Together, we believe it is possible to grow not just greener cities, but greener minds—resilient, thoughtful, and committed to sustainable futures.

Welcome to ZST. Welcome to A Beautiful Green Mind.
